BREAKING: Holidays at Walt Disney World – What to Expect in 2025

It’s the most magical time of the year — and Walt Disney World is ready to celebrate!

If your family loves Christmas lights, festive food, Mickey in his holiday best, and just a little extra sparkle, the holidays at Disney are pure magic.

From November 14 to December 31, 2025, every park, hotel, and pathway will be dressed in Christmas cheer — and I’m here to walk you through what to expect across all four parks, Disney Springs, and more.

Magic Kingdom: Classic Holiday Charm + Frozen Surprises

  • “Frozen Holiday Surprise” lights up Cinderella Castle nightly with snowgies, Elsa’s icy magic, and appearances from Anna, Olaf, and Kristoff.

  • The Disney Starlight parade continues its twice-nightly run — but only on non-party nights!

  • Don’t miss the Jingle Cruise, a pun-packed holiday takeover of the classic Jungle Cruise ride.

  • Photo ops abound on Main Street, U.S.A., especially with the stunning decor and Cinderella Castle as your backdrop.

EPCOT: Holidays Around the World

  • From November 28 to December 30, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays features global food, music, and traditions.

  • See holiday storytellers in each pavilion — from Père Noël in France to Las Posadas in Mexico.

  • Enjoy the JOYFUL! stage show in CommuniCore Plaza and the classic Candlelight Processional nightly in the American Pavilion.

  • Grab your foodie passport for the Holiday Cookie Stroll, or join Olaf’s Holiday Scavenger Hunt around World Showcase.

  • Bonus: Living with the Land – Holiday Overlay glows with Christmas lights through the greenhouses at night.

Hollywood Studios: Vintage Sparkle + Minnie’s Holiday Dine

  • Watch the Hollywood Tower Hotel transform into holiday scenes during Sunset Seasons Greetings

  • Join the festive finale at the Frozen Sing-Along — Olaf is extra jolly this time of year

  • Meet Woody, Jessie, and Buzz in their holiday outfits in Toy Story Land

  • Book a table at Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine for festive eats and dressed-up Disney pals

Animal Kingdom: Wild + Wonderful Winter Touches

  • Merry Menagerie polar animal puppets roam Discovery Island (great photo ops for littles!)

  • Watch the Tree of Life Awakenings – Holiday Edition light up after dark

  • Meet Mickey & Minnie in holiday attire at Adventurers Outpost

  • Stroll through peaceful, snowy decor and visit the Rob Kaz art display (Nov 1–20)

Disney Springs: Snowfall, Shopping & Santa

  • Stroll through Disney’s Christmas Tree Trail — with trees themed to Disney, Pixar, and even Haunted Mansion

  • Catch nightly snowfall in the Town Center (yes, even in Florida!)

  • Sip and snack at Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar

  • Watch live music, toy soldier stilt walkers, and festive entertainment while grabbing treats from The Daily Poutine, Joffrey’s, and more

  • Meet Santa Claus in Disney Springs and all four theme parks through December 24

Disney Resort Hotels: Decked Halls & Gingerbread Dreams

  • Each resort is decorated in its own theme — from tropical tinsel at Polynesian Village to seaside sparkle at BoardWalk Inn

  • Stop in to admire the life-size gingerbread displays at select resorts - due to lobby construction, the Grand Floridian gingerbread house is not returning for the 2025 holiday season

  • Enjoy seasonal snacks, peaceful atmospheres, and cozy holiday moments (even if you’re not staying there!)

☀️Sunshine for Your Soul☀️

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom He is pleased.” — Luke 2:14, ESV

In the midst of sparkle and music and joy, may you be reminded of the peace this season holds — not just in the lights or the parades, but in the presence of God with us. May your family find rest, laughter, and wonder in the little things that make this time so special.
